Four disciplines. One connected journey.

Brand positioning, paid advertising, landing pages and funnels – planned together, built together and refined together. This page explains what each discipline covers, how we work on it and where it connects to the others.

(01)Why connected

Most marketing problems are connection problems.

Ads, pages and enquiry flows are often built by different people at different times. Each part can be good on its own – and the journey can still fall apart between them.

The idea

A typical journey starts with an ad that makes a promise, continues on a page that explains the offer and ends with a next step – an enquiry, an application or a booked call. Every one of these moments shapes the decision. If the ad promises one thing and the page talks about another, attention is lost. If the page convinces but the form asks too much, interest is lost.

That is why we treat positioning, advertising, landing pages and funnels as one system. The positioning defines what is said. The ads decide who hears it first. The page develops the argument. The funnel makes the next step feel obvious – and its data feeds back into everything else.

You can work with us on one discipline or on all four. Either way, we look at the whole journey, because that is where the result is decided.

  • 01Mismatch

    The promise breaks

The ad says one thing, the landing page another. Visitors feel they took a wrong turn and leave.

  • 02Overload

    The step is too big

The page convinces, but the form asks for too much too early. Interest turns into hesitation.

  • 03Silence

    The follow-up is missing

Interested people enquire – and then hear nothing for days. The conversation cools before it starts.

Brand positioning

Clarifying the audience, the offer and the message – so that every channel builds on the same foundation instead of reinventing it.

What it is

Positioning decides what a brand is known for, who it is for and why it is the more sensible choice. It is not a slogan and not a logo. It is the set of decisions that every ad, every page and every sales conversation draws on.

For expertise-driven businesses this matters more than for most. When the product is knowledge, experience or a transformation, buyers cannot compare specifications. They compare clarity: how quickly they understand what you do, whether it fits their situation and whether they trust the person or team behind it.

We start with the audience – their situation, the outcome they want and the alternatives they are weighing. From there we sharpen the offer and build a message hierarchy: one primary promise, the arguments that support it and honest answers to the objections that come up before a purchase.

Questions we answer

The questions behind the work

  • Who exactly is the offer for – and who is it deliberately not for?
  • Which situation are buyers in when they start looking for a solution?
  • What outcome do they want, in their own words?
  • What makes the approach different from the obvious alternatives?
  • Which proof is available today, and which needs to be built?
  • What stops interested people from taking the next step?

Deliverables

What you get

01Audience & offer analysis
A structured picture of the target audience, their buying situation, the offer and the competitive alternatives.
02Positioning statement
A precise internal definition of who the brand serves, with what and why it is the better choice.
03Messaging framework
Primary message, supporting pillars, proof points and objection handling – the source for all copy.
04Brand narrative & tone of voice
How the brand speaks: vocabulary, rhythm, level of formality and what it never says.
05Visual direction
Typography, colour logic and imagery principles that carry the positioning into design.

How we work on it

From brief to result

  1. Listen

Interviews and a review of existing material: offers, pages, ads, sales notes and customer language.

  2. Structure

Audience segments, buying situations and alternatives are mapped; the core decision becomes visible.

  3. Decide

A positioning statement and message hierarchy are drafted, discussed and sharpened together.

  4. Translate

The decisions are turned into copy guidelines, tone of voice and a visual direction for production.

Signs you need this

  • People need a long explanation before they understand what you do.
  • Your ads, your website and your sales calls each tell a slightly different story.
  • Prospects compare you on price because they see no other difference.
  • Similar providers in your market sound almost exactly like you.
  • You have several offers, but no clear logic connecting them.

Paid advertising

Campaign concepts, advertising copy and creative assets built around a defined audience and objective – with structured testing and ongoing refinement.

What it is

Paid social and video advertising is where most expertise-driven businesses meet new audiences. Our focus is on Meta – Facebook and Instagram – and on YouTube, where attention is earned in the first seconds and lost just as quickly.

Good campaigns start long before the ad account. They need a clear objective, a defined audience and a message that is worth paying to distribute. Only then do structure, targeting and budget allocation make sense.

The creative is the strongest lever. We work with a system of hooks, angles and formats rather than single ads: several ways to open, several arguments to make and several formats to make them in. Each test changes one thing, so every result teaches something that the next round can build on.

Questions we answer

The questions behind the work

  • What is the campaign supposed to achieve – and how will we recognise progress?
  • Which audiences are realistic for the offer, and how warm are they?
  • Which hooks stop the right people – and which only attract attention?
  • Which angle is most convincing: the problem, the outcome or the proof?
  • Which formats fit the message: static, carousel, short video or longer video?
  • What happens after the click, and does it match the promise of the ad?

Deliverables

What you get

01Campaign structure & targeting
Account and campaign architecture, audience definitions and a clear separation of prospecting and retargeting.
02Hooks, angles & ad copy
A library of openings, arguments and copy variants derived from the messaging framework.
03Static & video creative concepts
Concepts, scripts and briefs for static, carousel and video formats – from talking head to demonstration.
04Structured testing framework
Hypotheses, test order and decision criteria, so that tests produce learnings instead of noise.
05Campaigns on Meta & YouTube
Set-up, launch and ongoing management of campaigns on the platforms where the audience spends time.

How we work on it

From brief to result

  1. Define

Objective, audience, budget logic and the measures that show whether the campaign is on track.

  2. Concept

Hooks, angles and formats are developed from the positioning and prioritised into a first test plan.

  3. Produce & launch

Copy and creative are produced, campaigns are set up and tracking is checked before launch.

  4. Test & refine

Results are reviewed in a fixed rhythm; winners are scaled, losers are replaced with the next hypothesis.

Signs you need this

  • Results depend on one or two ads that are slowly wearing out.
  • Nobody can say why a particular ad works – or why it stopped working.
  • New creatives are produced without a clear hypothesis behind them.
  • The ads attract clicks, but the enquiries do not fit the offer.
  • Budget decisions are made by gut feeling rather than by agreed criteria.

Landing pages & digital experiences

Focused pages that bring design, messaging and usability together – helping visitors understand the offer and take the next step.

What it is

A landing page has one job: to continue the conversation that the ad started and to bring it to a clear decision. That means the page has to match the promise that brought the visitor there – in wording, in tone and in what it offers next.

We build pages as an argument, not as a collection of sections. The order matters: a clear promise, the problem it solves, the mechanism behind the solution, the proof that it works, the offer itself, the answers to typical objections and a call to action that is impossible to miss.

Design and development are part of that argument. Typography creates hierarchy, layout guides the eye and speed keeps people on the page. Every page is responsive, accessible and built so that it can be measured and improved without starting over.

Questions we answer

The questions behind the work

  • Does the first screen confirm what the ad promised?
  • Can a visitor explain the offer after ten seconds?
  • Is there one primary action – or several competing ones?
  • Which objections need an answer before someone enquires?
  • Does the page work on a phone, on a slow connection, with one hand?
  • What will we measure, and what would make us change the page?

Deliverables

What you get

01Information architecture
The order of arguments and sections, derived from the audience and the decision they need to make.
02Conversion-focused copy
Headlines, body copy and calls to action written from the messaging framework – clear before clever.
03Interface & visual design
Layouts, components and visual hierarchy for desktop and mobile, consistent with the brand.
04Development & implementation
Fast, responsive and accessible pages, built on the platform that fits the project.
05Privacy-conscious measurement
A measurement set-up that answers the important questions without collecting more than necessary.

How we work on it

From brief to result

  1. Structure

The argument is outlined section by section, with the message and the action for each.

  2. Write

Copy is written before design, so that layout follows the message rather than the other way round.

  3. Design

Wireframes become designs; components are defined once and reused consistently.

  4. Build & check

The page is developed, tested on devices and connections, connected to forms and tracking, then launched.

Signs you need this

  • Visitors arrive from ads but leave without scrolling.
  • The page says something different from the ad that brought people there.
  • There are several buttons, and none of them is clearly the next step.
  • The mobile version feels like an afterthought.
  • Changing a headline requires a developer and a week.

Funnels & conversion optimisation

Connecting ads, pages and enquiry flows into one coherent journey – and refining the path from initial interest to meaningful action.

What it is

A funnel is the sum of every step between first contact and a conversation or purchase. For high-value offers, that path usually includes more than one page: an application or enquiry, a qualification step, a booked call and the follow-up around it.

Each of these steps can lose people – through unclear expectations, unnecessary fields, missing reassurance or slow responses. We map the journey as it really is, find the points where interest turns into hesitation and remove the friction one step at a time.

For sales-led offers we also look at the handover from marketing to sales: how leads are qualified, how calls are booked and prepared, and how follow-up sequences keep the conversation going without becoming pushy.

Questions we answer

The questions behind the work

  • Where exactly do people drop out between the ad and the conversation?
  • Does each step ask for exactly what is needed – and nothing more?
  • Do applicants know what happens next, and when?
  • How are enquiries qualified before they reach a sales conversation?
  • What happens to people who are interested but not ready yet?
  • Which part of the journey would make the biggest difference if it improved?

Deliverables

What you get

01Journey mapping
A visual map of every step, channel and handover from the first touchpoint to the conversation.
02Enquiry & application flows
Forms and multi-step applications that collect the right information without discouraging people.
03Booking & qualification steps
Scheduling, qualification questions and preparation for setter and closer conversations.
04Follow-up sequences
Email and message sequences that inform, reassure and bring interested people back at the right time.
05Friction analysis
A prioritised list of the points where the journey loses people – and what to change first.

How we work on it

From brief to result

  1. Map

The current journey is documented as it is, including the steps nobody likes to talk about.

  2. Diagnose

Data, recordings and feedback show where interest turns into hesitation.

  3. Redesign

Steps are removed, merged or clarified; expectations are set before they are needed.

  4. Connect & refine

Forms, booking tools, CRM and follow-up are connected; the journey is reviewed and refined continuously.

Signs you need this

  • Many people start the application, few finish it.
  • Booked calls are often not a fit for the offer.
  • Leads go cold between the enquiry and the first conversation.
  • Nobody owns the journey as a whole – only individual parts of it.
  • You know your number of leads, but not where you lose them.

Positioning decides what is said. Advertising decides who hears it first. The page develops the argument. The funnel makes the next step obvious.

The four disciplines as one system

(02)How it connects

Four layers on one axis.

Each discipline hands something to the next – and receives something back. That loop is what turns individual campaigns into a system that improves over time.

Learnings01 Positioning02 Advertising03 Landing page04 FunnelEvery round feeds the next
Fig. 5 — The loop between the disciplines
  1. Positioning → Advertising

    The message is defined once

Hooks and angles are derived from the messaging framework, so every ad says something the brand can stand behind.

  2. Advertising → Landing page

    The promise is kept

Headlines and first screens continue the exact promise of the ad that brought the visitor.

  3. Landing page → Funnel

    Interest becomes a next step

The page hands over to a form, an application or a booking step that matches the level of interest.

  4. Funnel → Positioning

    Reality corrects assumptions

Questions, objections and drop-off points flow back into the messaging and the next round of creative.

(04)Ways to engage

Start where it matters most.

Not every business needs all four disciplines at once. These are the most common starting points.

  • 01Project

    One discipline, clearly scoped

A positioning, a campaign, a landing page or a complete funnel – with a defined objective and a clear end point.

  • 02Partnership

    All disciplines, continuously

Ongoing development of campaigns, creatives, pages and flows, with a fixed review rhythm and shared priorities.

  • 03Review

    An outside perspective first

A structured look at your existing ads, pages and enquiry flow – where the message loses clarity and what to fix first.

(05)Questions

Questions about our services.

01Do I need all four disciplines?

No. Many projects start with one discipline – often positioning or a landing page. We look at the whole journey either way and tell you openly where the biggest lever is.

02Which advertising platforms do you work with?

Our focus is paid social and video advertising, particularly on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and YouTube. The choice always follows the audience and the objective, not the other way round.

03Who produces the creatives?

We develop the concepts, hooks, scripts and copy for static and video formats. Depending on the project, the assets are produced by us, by your team or by a production partner – always from the same brief.

04Can you work with our existing website or page builder?

Yes. We build on the platform that fits the project – including existing page builders and funnel tools – as long as it allows fast, measurable and maintainable pages.

05Do you also help with sales processes?

Yes, where they are part of the funnel: application and qualification steps, call booking, the handover between setter and closer conversations and the follow-up around them.

06How do you measure success?

We agree on objectives and measures before we start, separate early indicators from final outcomes and review them in a fixed rhythm. We do not promise figures before we understand your market.

07Do you work in German and English?

Yes. Our focus is the German-speaking DACH region, and we work internationally in English – with copy written for each audience rather than translated.

Let’s look at your journey.

Tell us what you offer, where you reach your audience today and what you want to build. We will tell you where we see the biggest lever.
